Interdisciplinary Perspective is defined as a person being knowledgeable and skilled in their discipline. It’s kind of like the process of finding the right teacher for the right subject. A person who studies history in teaching would be the best suited to become a history teacher to teach students.
Sometimes a person who is knowledgeable at multiple things can help teach multiple subjects, but I haven’t seen that in all the years I been in schools. In place of that they have a system called substitute teachers. These are people who know multiple subjects. These teachers are willing to sub in for a teacher in a certain subject if they are absent.
This shows that the interdisciplinary perspective of a teacher is the subject they teach and know the most about.
Two other words that I learned in class this week were Trivial and Sustained
Trivial is of very little interest and value. Something that deems insignificant.
Sustained means to support or bear the weight of something
